Dr. Werthman is one of the world’s renowned men’s health & fertility experts and director of The Center for Male Reproductive Medicine in Los Angeles. He has a master’s degree in military history with a focus on Israel’s Wars.

Dr. Werthman founded Merkava Holdings, a venture and advisory company that invests in early stage companies in the biotech and medical device sectors. He currently serves as chairman of the board of Rithem Life Sciences that has developed the world’s smallest cardiac defibrillator and was former chairman of the scientific advisory board of GT Biopharma (NASDAQ:GTBP).  

 

Dr. Werthman served on the national board of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) and was the secretary/treasurer of the Western Region for over a decade. During his tenure, the organization evolved from a grassroots charity to the preeminent Jewish philanthropic organization supporting the wellbeing of Israel’s soldiers with an annual budget of over $250,000,000. He also serves on the board of the Simms-Mann Institute and Foundation that promotes wellbeing and economic self-sufficiency for all.
