On November 1, 2022 in New York, 2019 Genesis Prize Laureate Robert Kraft accepted the National Leadership Award from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Kraft founded the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism in 2019, after winning the Genesis Prize that year. The foundation recently initiated a large scale, mass media campaign with the goal of inspiring individuals to stand up to the rising antisemitism in the United States.
On November 10, 2022 in New York, 2022 Genesis Prize Laureate Albert Bourla accepted the Anti-Defamation League’s highest honor, the Courage Against Hate Award. As CEO of Pfizer, he led the effort to successfully develop and deploy the first FDA approved COVID-19 vaccine while speaking out against disinformation and hate. Dr. Bourla is the son of Holocaust survivors from Thessaloniki, Greece.
