Access Israel

Access Israel promotes accessibility for those with disabilities. Its Purple Vest mission provided accessible aid to the elderly and people with disabilities in Ukraine and trained volunteers, NGOs, and municipalities in Ukraine on how best to provide emergency services to those with disabilities.

BlueCheck Ukraine

Bluecheck Ukraine, co-founded by Liev Schreiber, whose ancestors were Ukrainian Jews, identifies, vets, and fast-tracks urgent financial support to Ukrainian NGOs, and aids initiatives that provide life-saving and other critical humanitarian work on the front lines of Russia’s war on Ukraine.

FRIDA

FRIDA Ukraine is a Ukrainian-Israeli medical volunteer project that provides emergency medical care to Ukrainian civilians, especially those with disabilities and isolated elderly suffering from the war and occupation.

Hadassah

Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc. (HWZOA), is the largest Jewish women’s organization in the United States supporting the two hospitals of the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO). HMO sent emergency medical teams to Poland and donated medical equipment to Ukrainians in need of immediate medical assistance.

HIAS

HIAS provides vital services to refugees and asylum seekers around the world and advocates for their fundamental rights. HIAS is providing emergency humanitarian assistance in Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, and Romania to assist Ukrainian refugees and those who are internally displaced within Ukraine.

HIBUKI Therapy (Telem)

HIBUKI – Hebrew for “to hug” - is a ground-breaking therapy developed in Israel to provide immediate and effective comfort to thousands of distressed children suffering from the trauma of war and natural disasters.

Hillel International

For 100 years, Hillel has been the largest and most inclusive Jewish campus organization in the world. Hillel International launched an emergency relief fund to support the urgent needs of Hillel professionals and students in the impacted region, as well as Hillel’s humanitarian work supporting Ukrainian refugees.

IsraAID

IsraAID is an international non-governmental humanitarian aid organization based in Israel working in emergency and long-term development settings. This winter, IsraAID is delivering 90,000 thermal items, equipping mobile medical clinics, and installing and maintaining generators and heating infrastructure across Ukraine.

Israel Trauma Coalition

Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC) was created to harness the collective knowledge, expertise, and experience of Israel’s leading trauma management NGOs and government organizations. ITC has been sharing psychological tools and trauma-focused intervention skills with the Government of Ukraine and local caregivers who are working with refugees in and around Ukraine.

JCC Association of North America

JCCA will send 35 Ukrainian Jewish teens, many of whom have been separated from their families by war, to Israel for the summer 2023 JCC Maccabi Games, where they will join 1,000 teens from around the world and tour Israel.

JDC

The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, the world’s leading Jewish humanitarian organization, has worked to evacuate refugees, provide food, medicine, and psychological aid, and distribute blankets, heaters, and coal to tens of thousands of Ukrainians.

Jewish Agency for Israel

The Jewish Agency for Israel, the world’s largest Jewish NGO, is developing a center in Western Ukraine to house educational activities, preparation for those who wish to make aliyah, and respite and comfort to the community.

Lev Echad

Lev Echad is an Israeli emergency crisis aid organization whose Israeli and American volunteers are providing humanitarian and medical aid in Ukraine in cooperation with local authorities and organizations.

Moishe House

Moishe House provides a space for over 70,000 young adults around the world to create meaningful, welcoming Jewish communities for themselves and their peers. The Moishe House Ukraine Fund provides immediate and essential funding for affected Moishe House community builders and alumni, community members, and staff.

NATAL Israel

NATAL Israel is an Israeli nonprofit supporting the treatment of trauma victims under the joint patronage of the First Ladies of Israel Michal Herzog and Ukraine Olena Zelenska.

NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief

NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief provides emergency relief and recovery following natural and man-made disasters. NATAN deployed 15 teams of medical and professional volunteers to Ukraine treating an average of 120 patients per day.

National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry

NCSEJ is in the forefront in keeping the American Jewish community informed on the Russian invasion of Ukraine including the most up-to-date information and analysis of the political and security implications for the Ukrainian Jewish community.

NEXUS Israeli-Ukrainian Association

NEXUS has delivered over 130 tons of critical humanitarian aid to Ukrainian hospitals and is delivering computers and software support for online education of Ukrainian children whose schools have been destroyed in the war.

Project Kesher

Project Kesher was founded to support a growing network of Jewish women leaders in Belarus, Georgia, Russia, Moldova, and Ukraine. It is meeting the needs of women and girls in Ukraine as they face the current crisis and fallout, including those who are displaced.

Sheba Medical Center

Sheba Medical Center’s leadership in support of Ukraine didn’t stop with Sheba’s field hospital. Today Sheba has a mobile women’s health clinic traveling the country, focused on treated victims of sexual assault.

Tikva

Tikva is a rescue aid and educational organization saving the lives of at-risk Jewish children and relieving the suffering of impoverished Jewish families in Odessa, Ukraine. Tikva conducted emergency evacuations of orphans, students, and alumni with families to neighboring countries.

United Hatzalah

United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, nonprofit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization in Israel. They have been training Ukrainian soldiers in basic medical care, providing soldiers with medical kits to assist the wounded, and rescuing refugees and bringing them to Israel.

United24

United24 is an initiative launched by President Zelensky as the main venue for collecting charitable donations in support of Ukraine. Through this initiative, hundreds of millions of dollars have been donated to support Ukraine. Barbra Streisand, United24 Ambassador, is focused on raising funds for humanitarian and medical aid.

World Jewish Relief

Based in the UK, World Jewish Relief and its local partners are delivering humanitarian assistance in 215 towns across Ukraine and providing language and employment training for internally displaced refugees as well as those Moldova, Poland, and the UK.
